I am the LORD, and there is no other; apart from me there is no God. Isaiah 45:5

This weekend the Lord blew us away! As we travelled to Jamestown on Friday morning, we were anxious to see what was in store. Since April, we had travelled that 90-mile trek over 50 times as we had labored to see Valley City and Jamestown united in an effort to impact their youth. Over the many months of meetings, church presentations, prayer gatherings, trainings, fundraising, and more... we had seen God's hand shown countless times. Now was the time for harvest!

On Friday we worked all day preparing the venue for what was to come on Saturday. Before we left to get some sleep, four of us gathered on stage to ask God to draw many to Himself. As we prayed, the Lord united our hearts and prepared us for battle. At the same time our prayers were going up, secular music sounded out of the venue loudspeakers reminding us of the battle we were in. As we said, "Amen" something amazing happened. At the same moment we stopped praying, our PULSE announcement came across the radio and its noise filled the place.... "On November 10th, Jamestwon Civic Center, Get Your Heart Checked...PULSE". It was as if the Lord was saying, "I am here. I've been here. I will be here." We left excited and expectant for what the following day would hold.

The next day was amazing. Students and community leaders worked all day to get everything ready. Each seat was prayed over and prayer room was up and running. As the doors opened at 5:30pm, young people streamed in. They had come from MT, ND, SD, MN, WI, IA, NE, and multiple provinces in Canada. In all, Civic officials estimated 4,600 filled the seats. They had come for varying reasons, but each one was about to encounter a move of God.

For months we had called out to believers, "When we pray, God moves!" Hundreds had prayed and now it was time for God to move.... and move He did! As the Gospel was presented after Kutless and then echoed throughout the Newsboys set, it was clear that this was no ordinary concert... the Lord was in the house.

In all, 187 students marked that they had given their lives to Christ for the first time. Another 1,400+ indicated that they had not been living sold out for Christ, but tonight they rededicated themselves to His call. Another 100 marked that they wanted to talk to someone to get their questions answered.

While the numbers give some indication of what happened that night, we likely will never see the events full impact until we go home to heaven. Until then, we will always remember what happened on November 10th in Jamestown, ND. As local leaders said afterwards, "If this can happen here, it can happen anywhere. The Lord is moving!"
